The British Endodontic Society (BES) Case Assessment Tool is a quick, free online resource designed to help dentists assess the complexity of a root canal treatment before deciding whether to treat or refer.

By considering a range of patient, tooth and treatment factors, the BES EndoApp generates a case complexity score and suggests an appropriate treatment pathway. It can be particularly helpful when deciding whether a challenging endodontic case would benefit from referral to a clinician with greater experience in endodontics.
