New Practice Progress

Things really got going today.  Builders ripping pout the interior of what become the clinical area,  ceiling floor, wall to go soon.  Even in 38 degs outside heat the airocn was doing it's job.  I will however be putting in 2 more units so recpetion, each surgery and each of the education centre rooms has it's own feed.  

First batch of signs went up, and obselete ones removed,  no more missed deliveries.  

Significant day today,  we got they keys :-)  Visits by building team, Openreach and Signwriters.  Also completed my temporary office..... 

Having spent a day here now, it\s lovely and peaceful,  little shop 5 mins walk away. and a mobile food truck that sells Hollands Pies.  Heaven.  

Huge task ahead to make it what we want, but we are up to it.

Currently it's waiting for us to get the keys to get started.  I've spent 20 years plus studying how to design things to make an ergonomic microscope centred practice,  this is going to be something worth waiting for.  

We first viewed the premises in March and, since then, much of our time has been spent working through the legal process. It has certainly tested our patience, but we are now hoping to collect the keys on 29 July allowing us to begin transforming the building into the multi disciplinary referral practice we have been planning.

There is a great deal of work ahead, but it will be worth the wait. Every aspect of the practice is being designed specifically for microscope endodontics, creating an environment that benefits both our patients and our referring dentists.

During the fit-out we hope to host a number of informal open evenings and introductory seminars, giving colleagues the opportunity to see the practice taking shape before we officially open.
